Terms and Conditions
Reservations:
Your reservation will not be confirmed until a deposit has been received by us.
Arrival and Departure:
Arrival - please arrive whenever possible after 4pm. Please contact us if you have any late or early arrival requests.
Departure - we ask that rooms are normally vacated by 11am on your last day in order that we can make up the rooms for the next guests.
Deposits:
Deposits for advanced booking should be received by us within 5 days of making your reservation unless otherwise agreed.
Payment methods:
We do not have a credit or debit card facility therefore all accounts must be settled in cash or by cheque. Cheques should be made payable to Mrs C Lister.
Cancellation of Booking:
In the event of a booking being cancelled by you we are unable to refund any deposit. In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your booking, we will fully refund your deposit and assist you in finding alternative accommodation.
Single Occupancy:
A single person supplement of £10 will be charged for an underoccupied room.
Children:
We welcome children of all ages but would respectfully advise that children must be supervised at all times by parents/guardians.
Special Diets:
We can cater for special dietary requests with advance notice.
Evening Meals:
Evening meals can be provided by advanced arrangement
No Smoking:
Old Bewick Farmhouse is strictly a no smoking establishment.
Allergies:
Old Bewick Farmhouse is not suitable for guests with animal allergies. It is a family home and we have a pet dog and 2 cats who, although are not allowed in the letting rooms, do have access to some of the ground floor communal space.
Disabled Access:
Unfortunately, all of our bedrooms are on the first floor and it is necessary to climb stairs to access them. We will endeavour to assist with mobility needs where possible but we respectfully advise that guests consider this limitation at time of booking.
